Once Secret picked a corner of his cage for bathroom I was able to get a corner litter box and put some already peed on newspapers in it and he always used that. You may try that. Good Luck!

Look at the Dec. 04,2007 post by Hauk. That is where i saw the honey warning. These were Pinkies however and your pup is much older so i wouldnt worry about the little bit you have fed her. Good Luck!

I am in my 8th month of pregnancy and I took him with me to one of my first OBGYN visits. They loved him and didnt have anything negative to say. No ill effects as of yet and I am almost there. Benefit... You dont have to clean the cage when your prego because that required too much lifting... hehe.

As his/her background is not known I would recommend you get the new one evaluated for any kind of parasites and sicknesses before you let it live among your pet rats. I hope all goes well with your new pet. :)

If the medicine is powder or liquid I would hide it in peanut butter.. that is how i get my lovely to enjoy his vitamin/calcium supplement. Other HOF's use yogurt.. just make sure your mix in is a small enough amount that you can ensure he gets his whole dose! Good luck with the ointment.. some nice...

I just take mine outside and hose it off... I dont need any cleaning products. It works out ok. I dont have any smell problems and i have had him for a little over a year.
