I'm Finally Back

Hey HOF's! I'm finally back after a long, long break from all things flyer to heal my heart. I don't know if I posted it here, but we lost Bandit. :( He was a sweet little boy who was bonding to me, but he would never eat. I tried all I could, but whenever I fed him, he spit it back up. (Like when I...

A few questions about Bandit

1) He isn't eating. Is this "normal"? He'll take a couple drinks of formula, but nothing else. 2) He isn't enjoying me trying to coax him into my shirt. Any tips on how I can get him to sleep there? I'm afraid he won't bond with me if he never goes in my shirt. 3) Hes the opposite of hyper...

Bandit Boy :)

We decided on the name Bandit. We were also considering PB (for POLAR bear) because he goes from such an extreme hyper to such an extreme calm that it's like he's bi- POLAR . We also jokingly "considered" Litthie (for Lithium, because that's what bi-polar patients take  ) Anyways,...

Yes, we got HIM from Helen's also. We told her we didn't mind (boy or girl) and she said she had a girl for us. But, today he "projectile peed" on my hand and I've never known a girl to do that...plus he got a little..uhm 'excited' today. So, I'll get a new experience with my little boy, B...

We got our flyer yesterday night (1 A.M. due to a delayed flight  ) Anyways, we took her out to give her some formula and she went WILD :evilbat: she climed up walls, explored every story of our house, etc. Same situation this morning, only I took her out in the bathroom. She doesn't seem to l...

Blacksburg, VA to different areas (help please)

There is a flying squirrel in Blacksburg, VA that I'm working out details with her owner about adopting. However, from Cincinnati to Blacksburg is a nice little 7 hour drive. Is anybody going from there, to Ohio (any place in Ohio really, we would be willing to meet up) Or, in two weekends, we are g...

I think I know why it hurts so bad when they are gone.
When they sleep in your shirt, they are so close to your heart that they just become a part of it. No other animal gets that close to your heart.

I'm very much so considering it. The only problem is, again, the money involved for the shipping. We could do $50 but the shipping will probably cost more than we can dish out at the moment. I am currently looking for a new baby to love and spoil, as I know it's the best medicine for a broken heart....

Fidget got some formula on the side of her cheek and I didn't see it, so it hardened and the fur fell of entirely on her cheek. The skin isn't irretated, scaley, or red. But - will her fur grow back in that area?
