I counted 7 two different times, but they are sooo hard to count when they are bouncing around like ping pong balls. We both often count 6's And 5's. I was out late and just got home. DH greets m...

Re: My three boys...

I have 3 of each :? and it's pretty much as Lynn discribed with me too. They all have different patterns of behaviors that make them distinctly recognizable as they romp around the cage or in the house. You will instantly know who just ambushed you by how, where from, where on your body, and what he...

At least with a toddler, you have a good chance of being able to grab him and hold on to him long enough to lock him in a cage

Excellent Judy. Should be required reading for anyone thinking about taking on a flyer. So many potentially good HOFs, but really are not in the best position to do right by a flyer. Best to consider if the timing is right in your life for such a high-mantainence pet.

Some of mine use a certain spot in their cage where I keep a small fleece slipper zip-tied. I buy pairs of fuzzy slippers for $1.00 per pair, and hang one at a time in that spot. I remove it when it gets smelly enough and hang a fresh one. They throw food every where though. Some of my little monste...

I add a pinch of repcal and a drop of vitamins with D3 into peach yogurt drink and shake well. I give their yogurt laced with the supplements this way only 1 or 2 nights aweek. The rest of the time they get several calcium rich foods, but not with addatives.

Is she staying warm enough at all times? They become very lethargic if they are not warm. How about peeing and pooping? Any problems getting the baby to eliminate? I agree about finding a rehabber if the baby is still alive. They are very difficult to raise from that small.

It absolutly depends on the dog and the humans that the dog lives with. You will have to determin if your roommate will do the work it takes to have a dog that is under control at all times. Get those zip ties in all sizes. They are perfectly safe and the flyers don't chew them. Also plastic clothespins are very useful for holding small things you don't want to use a strong zip tie for. They are good for holding a cage door shut once your flyer has learned to open it, and for holding le...
