Hi, honi_baby, Another word of caution....a 3cc syringe is WAY too big for a flyer of undetermined age! And the baby won't really be able to "draw" on the syringe at all - you will have to control the flow yourself. Best to push out a drop at a time as the baby licks it up. Of course, the ...

Well, with Ivy, she was only interested in diving back in with the babies, so she never went for my digits at that point. Not that I was afraid or anything, but I DID take to wearing my sister's old whiplash collar whenever I'd open the cage door.....gotta protect that jugular, you know.

Okay, Cathy - here's my Trick-The-Squirrel method used successfully on Poison Ivy: Put some choice food item in the cage away from the overalls. Then sit back and bide your time. When Suzie comes out to partake of the goodies, reach in there and grab those overalls out - shut the door quickly - and ...

That's really good news about him getting mother's milk for the first month of his life - he'll be just fine. If it were me, I would definitely move him over to Esbilac, though, until he's weaned. As far as water - don't worry about it. He'll drink on his own as soon as he needs it. As long as he's ...
