I know this reply is late, I have never seen a pregnant flyer, but I am pretty sure she will show in her tummy (the white part above her lady part). Hope this helps!

Awe, poor baby! I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope she's ok! I have read some stuff about soaking in Epsom salt and massaging (of course, after you are sure her back is healed), and in some cases, their mobility comes back. Good luck!

Joan might be able to tell you more, but I think yaya will do what she can and nothing more. I don't think she would use it unless she knew she could. If it was me I would leave her in the bigger cage, but I might take the wheel out for a few nights.

Think gummy worms, but gray. YUCK. :) We have an intricate working of branches in their cage. Just make sure they are clean of bugs, or you'll get bugs in the house! I stripped them of all the little branches, and fixed it so they wouldn't fall or hurt them. It is also highly recommended that you ge...

Re: Very Picky Eater Advice Wanted
I have given Zooey a small piece of bacon before, but I don't think it's good for them (the grease). Maybe turkey bacon would be ok. Jack and Zooey LOVE crickets, and grubworms (I can't watch them eat a grubworm, it's gross). They also love flowers. My husband gave me some for my birthday and Jack h...

Sounds good! The sweet potato is an excellent source of both calcium and D3!
I feed them every night before I go to bed. I give them their pecan treat in the morning before I leave for work. Their little noses are poked out of their pouches every morning ready for that nut!

Re: Very Picky Eater Advice Wanted
I have mixed feelings on the subject. Some people are hard core diet, some are completely lax. The hungrier he gets, the more he'll want to eat the veggies. But I hate to do this to my little flyers. I found that some baby food veggie stuff works (like this: https://www.gerber.com/products/snacks-pr...

Re: Glad to have found all of you! Need some expert advice
I got a food scale...and I put them on it with a bit of nut or some peanut butter on my finger. That keeps them still enough for me to get a measurement. But since he is timid, yes your method would absolutely work fine. Here's a rundown (not exact): A new born Flyer weighs 3 grams 4 days ---- 5g 7 ...

Re: Glad to have found all of you! Need some expert advice
Patience is key. How much does he weigh? That will give a good indicator as to how old he is. I got my Daisy when she was two years old, and it took a lot of patience to get her to bond. I would put her in my sports bra every day after work and carry her around until bedtime (or until she ran and pl...

Traveling
We will be heading on a cruise in 16 days. YAY! I'm starting to get a little stressed about the squirrels though. Normally my SIL keeps them, she has a flyer herself and knows about all their quirks. But she is going on a cruise too! The only option is my MIL, and she has never had flyers. She under...

Joan says (and I believe) that it's not a sexual thing, it is him playing and establishing order between the two of them (like wrestling between humans siblings). Jack has done this so much to Zooey that she would gave been pregnant by now if he was doing it right!

My opinion is to get two at the same time. That way they were probably born together and you won't have to worry about them getting along as much.

Jack spends enough time humping her, so I'm surprised she hasn't gotten pregnant yet! They are both 8.5 months old, I think that's old enough but haven't checked it out.
And you know I'll be taking pictures like crazy!
Joan, a little turtle wax is ok, right?

I've never seen that with acorns, but Daisy's would every time I gave her peanut butter. I would give her a little cranberry juice and it would clear right up.
