Re: Posting Photos Is Easy!

Give this a try for adding images to a post. Below the window you type in you should see a couple of Tabs (Options, Attachments). If you click on attachments you should have a button to "Add files.." Screen Shot 2017-09-02 at 11.17.44 PM.png After adding one or more images with the "A...

Our Suki passed away last night

suki1.png Our flyer of almost 11 years passed away quietly last night. She wasn't doing very well yesterday evening at all, wasn't moving around to good and seemed very disoriented. We thought she might have broken something but I don't think that was the case. She was fine with me inspecting her a...

Flying Squirrel Launching Posts on Cherohala Skyway

Was out driving over the weekend across the Cherohala Skyway in North Carolina and kept seeing these strange telephone pole things on the side of the road (with out wires attached). Well turns out they're for Flying Squirrels! Check out the link below: http://sharepoint.nwf.org/sites/oc/statewildlif...

Re: NFSA Chat - Available at the bottom of each screen

Please note, this feature is no longer available with the new them / style of the messageboard.

If any of you miss this feature or used it regularly, just let me know and I'll see about re-implementing it (or finding a similar solution) for the new messageboard style.

Thanks!

Re: Official 2010 NFSA conf. Alabama

Here's Bev's second conference video from speaker Tom Savage: Link: http://nfsa.us/media/nfsa_2010_tree_and_acorn_identification.wmv These videos are fairly large, so just let it may buffer once it starts playing. If it stops or pauses, you can pause for a while and let the buffer build up first. Pl...

Re: Stealth Wheel Questions

Our Bandit loves his wheel, I think he would have serious anxiety if he couldn't run on it. Suki on the other hand (our other squirrel) could care less. I think if they have the wheel from an early age then they'll definitely take to it. Here's a video of Mr. Bandit on his Stealth Wheel: UgN4iwFshxU

NFSA Chat - Available at the bottom of each screen

I have installed a simple "chat" plugin for the messageboard. At the bottom of each screen you should see a small box that you can type inside of. Anything you want to type in there will be visible to all users on the board (after you hit 'return'). Regardless of which forum you are in, th...

Re: My three boys...

We had two female flyers for years (one passed away) and we've since acquired a younger male. I would imagine you boys will choose separate nests for themselves at some point (and stick to their own nest), but ours always have had very distinct personalities. It's been very easy to tell them apart b...

It looks like Emma and I will miss this year's conference. I really would have liked to see everyone again and catch up. You should still be able to see the sections without logging in. The intention is to have logins for NFSA members, then you will get access to be able to do things like add to the image gallery.

It's definately a work in progress.

Sasami's tail fur seems to go through constant disapearing / reapearing acts. I thought this was pretty strange though, it has recently grown (back) in in the shape of a Heart. Depending on how you see her it's really heart shaped (more so than in the picture even). Just interesting. http://w...
