Re: Play Behavior aggressive at times and confusing

Sometimes they take it upon themselves to own only one person and are not nice to others. Another thought is that your wife may be wearing something scented (hand lotion, soap, perfume, etc that you don't). He could also be jealous of her and trying to run her away from his HoF. The play ...

Re: Squirrel missing her targets?

[ Hi I have a squirrel who just turned a year in October and she has been missing most of her jumps to and from things around the room. I was just curious is it possible for her to be pregnant this late in the season or is there something else that could be causing this? Depends where you live. In F...

And now I can't even wear her or pet her. She has always been weird at night today was the first time she has not let me grab her pouch for morning cuddles. My female of 3 years has changed personality. She now is aggressive and will bite where she never did this before. She has slept with her sister for 2 years nightly and now won't go near her. They also fight and bite. I was thinking this was her cycle but we are going on a month now. She let's me l...

Re: What am I doing wrong?

She has never layed her teeth on anyone before. Just like many young animals, flyers are taught how hard they can bite by mama and siblings. Setting the limits is important to teach what is not allowed. The "NO!" is a good start along with blowing on him. Progress to a squirt bottle if he...

I just built a 2'x3'x 6' tall cage for a rescued female grey squirrel that had been injured. She has been weaned about 3 weeks. I have two eight week old flyers that were rescued after Hurricane Irma. They have been living in separate smaller cages. Can they live together in this one large cage. Th...

She was starting to take milk again by that night and has been attacking the syringe since then for her milk. I've been having a hard time getting her to start eating solid foods. She'll lick and nibble a bit at apples and pecans, but not really interested in other fruits or vegetables right now. T...

It's hard to say what's going on. Is she mouth breathing ... like a fish out of water. That and a clicking sound can indicate aspiration. Is she eating solid foods? At 5 weeks mine were weaning themselves as no formula was as good as mama's milk.

Answer is "Tough Love". Put what you want him to have (and nothing else) in the cage and remove it in the morning. Never known one to starve himself, but they can get very "picky". :evilbat:
