RIP Cooper

One of my flyers, Cooper, died last week. I'm not sure what happened to him, He hadn't been out of his cage in over a week and there were no marks on him or any sign of traumatic injury. I could tell he was sick the night before, he was usually the psycho one, compared to his brother, but he kind of...

I've had the branches in the cage for about a week now and my guys LOVE them, I did just rinse them off in REALLY hot water for a while and I let them dry. They are tearing one branch up and the other two they play on mostly. I would just make sure to get fresh ones, like ones that are not dead or o...

flyer bath?

Does anyone ever bathe their flyers? I don’t think it needs to be done, unless they get into something yucky, but I was just wondering that because it was raining the other day at school and I saw the squirrels just sitting on the tree limb in the rain. And I know birds like to be "misted"...

Yeah I was wondering if they would like those too. I've got some citrus trees out back and they like the fruit from them but I don;t know about leaves.

Thanks guys,
It probably bothers me more than it bothers them, the only time I see them on the bottom now is to get in their wheel or to go potty mostly.
I'll prolly do the newspaper, its cheap ^^

The bottom of my cage is wired...

The bottom of my cage is wired, like the sides are, its half inch spaces that are like 5-6 inches long, like a bird cage with small bars. Since I got my little guys I've had a towl on the bottom so if they fell it would be soft but now they are getting around in their cage like acrobats and they don...

"fresh" oak branches?

My neighbors were trimming their big oak trees and I thought about taking a few branches and putting them in for my little guys to play on (their nails are getting long...) but I remember reading on here that someone once had a problem with their squirrel getting mites or something from them? so sho...

Mine are attached different, it’s more permanent but its super easy to take it off to clean it out, the hooks wouldn’t work for me because mines hanging on the outside of the cage. I drilled four holes (now that I’ve done it, two would have been sufficient) in the front of the nest box (the side tha...
