I have done that!! In fact, Shelly notched Peanut's tail. Little witch pulled the hair off the end of his tail. It never grew back. I could always tell Peanut by his tail.

Draco won't touch formula, only water and very seldom, yogurt drink. Glorya, he will drink enough, what he needs. He gets moisture from the food too. You could put a little warm formula in a small dish for him if you are worried about him not drinking formula. One of my rehabs wouldn't drink formul...

Question? Could someone tell me what the expression or Tent is? I don't know. Thank you. Just a small tent (a real tent) that you and he could get in. That way he could run around and play but still have to be close to you. Then maybe he would interact with you more. Offering him treats would get h...

Re: Weaned?

[quote="USMom"]How old is a flyer when its considered weaned? Flyers will wean themselves at 6+ weeks. They start eating solid foods and become less interested in formula. They are weaned when they stop drinking formula. And I saw a couple of posts about getting them early and hand feeding...

You can use almost anything for nest boxes. I used to use wooden boxes then I got snuggle sacks in the bird section. They love them more than the wood boxes. I give mine little pieces of fleece or t-shirt material to go in their nest box. I think a lot of people use blue bird houses found at pet st...
