i was wondering if it is possible to have our flyers vaccinated against pasteurella? (my brain is in microbiology mode lately, and we're learning about vaccines...) i do have a cat in my house, and although she NEVER has any contact with shylo, it would be nice to have some sort of 'security blanket...

FYI in the future, Southern Flying Squirrels are NOT illegal in MA! That's what I thought! Then when I took her to the vet they said otherwise... I'm so confused! Shylo is happy and well... thank you everyone for your support. She does seem to love me even more after I took good care of her :D

shylo has peed, but i don't think she's had a bowel movement since the accident... at least not one that i can see in her cage and i would see it because i just cleaned her cage that night (unless it's buried in her fluff in her nest box)... what should i do??

tonight's progress: she hasn't left my shirt. she has decided however, that sleeping all day and night is boring. she attacks my fingers instead to get out her extra energy. :) i guess she's figured out a way that is safe for her to exercise!
