How old is Homie and how long have you had her? Surely she will come back. She must have found some food someplace or got out to the neighbors. Have you asked them? I'd ask them and have them on the alert for her.

Just checking back to see if you found your baby yet. I guess not. Are you leaving out food and water? I just wondered if you could tell if something was eating it. I know you're about to drive yourself crazy, I would be. I'm so sorry and I hope she (or he) shows up soon, and is ok. I'll keep checki...

My husband and I will have her out playing with her and she always wants to jump on me. I don't remember her ever jumping on him. Well, I've been looking at the web-cam. It's great !!I would love to see them glide---I've never seen one glide. Piper is about 3 months old but she's never done it. Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one getting bitten. I thought I was doing everything wrong. I guess it's a personality thing. She's ok when she's in my shirt or when she first gets up at 9;00pm every night and eats, but then after awhile she gets rough. ha Maybe it's just a female thing.

We lost Piper one night in my recliner. We had to turn it on it's side and carefully coax her around till we could get our hand on her. We were so afraid we were going to mash her someway. Scared us to death. And I read about the ones letting theirs have so much out of pen time. Piper has never had ...

Biting

Do any of you have a baby that bites you? Piper is either playing or just plain biting. She makes a noise when she jumps at me too. honey

So is honey really a tranqualizer for squirrels? I sure have needed something for a little gray squirrel we have. He runs all day in his pen, altho, I think he's doing it a little less lately. I didn't think honey was good for regular squirrels, maybe flying ones are different? What other foods will...

We offer her alot of different things to eat. She really only eats pecans, a bite of a peanut half, peanut butter, just a couple of bites, once she ate some yogurt, the Dannon vanilla like someone told me to get, and the Esbilac. Oh, and apple. She doesn't seem to like anything cold, like applesauce...

feeding a flyer

Can anyone tell me how much formula to feed a 5-6 week old flyer and how often. Also, when do they start trying to sail, and when do they start singing, as I have heard, or what kink of noise do they make. We have a flyer, had her about a week.
