Question on Calvicet

Postby Cashew » Fri May 02, 2008 2:32 pm

I put Calcivet in Cashew's water. How much is enough? Should I put it in her water everyday? Also does she need vitamins?
Thanks in advance!

I use Rep-Cal powder and the only way I have been able to get Pika to eat it is if I put his mealworms in a ziplok baggie with the powder and shake until they get a fine coating on them. I'd like to try the calcivet because he's not getting much at all.

I think some people have said they put it in the water 2-3 times a week, others say they keep two water dishes at all times: one with the calcivet and one without and their flyer can choose whichever they need at the time.

I use the calcium in the water. Then I'll swap it for vitamins in the water. Always giving a plain water in case it's wanted instead of either treated water.

I use Calcivet. I put a drop in their yogurt three times a week. I don't know if that is the right amount or not. Also, I do not use a vitamin in addition. Someone please advise if I'm doing the right amount and/or if vetamins needs to be used also.

Calcivet is a liquid calcium and vitamin D3 supplement, so nothing additional is needed. Directions:
Mix 1cc in each 50cc of drinking water or pour 5cc over a cup of soaked seed. Individual dose is 0.2cc per 100g body weight
