Baking Soda?

Postby Amorice » Thu Dec 04, 2008 9:43 pm

I cleaned Ichigo's cage today, using baking soda & warm water. I quickly wiped down her branches (w/ a washcloth that had some baking soda on it, didn't rinse them b/c the amount was so small), 'cause they had some messy bits, and a few hours later, she's LICKING the branches like they're just the tastiest thing around! Should I rinse them off, or will she be okay with a little bit?

Interesting! It might indicate a craving for Sodium, which makes me wonder if we consider the salt requirement/desire of the flyers.
