Future home

Postby CoCoDulse » Fri May 24, 2013 10:15 am

Hello to all that is the future of my squirrel cage flying is that I have to do some modifications in it such as putting a mesh because the bars are vertical. In the side what would you recommend me not to drop the substrate? Measures i think that is pretty good. What do you think?

I have used for the parakeets, and for my agaporni and i think that is quite good for the future squirrel

Yes, you should put some mesh on the inside, so that the flyer can climb it more easily.

If it was previously used for birds, be sure to clean it out very well, as bird feces can carry harmful bacteria.

Also, you should check to see if it is legal for you to own a flyer in your country.

Good luck!

In my country there are no problems to have a flying squirrel. With the issue of cleanliness thank you very much, always very well disinfected a cage for a new animal. And finally, how do you can give me some idea of what I can put the sides so that the substrate does not fall? Thanks

I have some cages like these and mine have no problem climbing on it. I use kittie litter in the bottom.
