Postby JMF2323 » Sat Jul 14, 2018 10:06 pm

I think me flying squirrel broke his hand or arm. He just woke up and I noticed he is hoping oddly so I take him out of the cage and he's not moving his right arm/ hand. What should I do?

Try to keep him in a smaller cage so it isn't as active. These little fellow have amazing recuperative abilities. You can't splint them anyway.

Thanks for the reply Joan. The only other cage I have is a small dog traveling crate which he hates, I feel as if that will just stress him out.

Then don't worry as he'll know to protect that limb until it's healed.
