I am too paranoid to let my guy free roam. What I have found to be great for him is one of these: Pop Up Puppy Tent (in multiple sizes)

http://www.petco.com/product/108191/WAR ... 7AodulcA8Q

I get in there with him and bring his wheel and he just goes nuts! He gets to climb from all angles, as well as dart off of me. If we are not in the room or are wanting to let him roam but cannot completely pay attention to where he is, we just put him in his pen and he can stretch his legs! He hops all over the place and runs in circles on the perimeter walls.

I wish I had the courage to let him roam, but if I lost him or he was injured I could not forgive myself.

Hope other find this helpful!

Great resource for "tent bonding".

That is super cute. I've been thinking about getting one for when I spend the night at friend's houses. I'm comfortable with Ya'ya running around in my room, but I can't verify the safety of the environment when I travel.
