Try one of the many pet odor neutralizers that are availabe today and work quite well. Also conside putting squirel in an temporary cage and take the cage outside for a good scrubbing and rinsing and sun drying.

We have an enzyme cleaner for pet odor stains. I don't remember what it's called but it de-stinks carpets and other surfaces. It works on cat and dog pee so I'm sure it will also work on squirrel pee.

Travis, until the weather improves enough for an outdoor scrubbing, try mixing some baking soda in warm water & use it to wipe down the wire on both sides. BS is a good deoderizer/cleaner & its safe/non-toxic.

I think she was abbreviating baking soda to BS. Arm & Hammer is a very common brand name for baking soda.

That is correct, BS = baking soda. Ask your mom she probably already has it in her kitchen cabinate.

Any cleaners used for bird cages are OK
