Northern Flyers

Last weekend my sister called me and said she rescued from her cat a flying squirrrel and she did not know what do to with it but knew I had Zip so she brought her to me. I checked her over and she was okay just frightened.

This little girl is about the same size as Zip who is 3 months old but she is a baby or I think so anyway. The reason why I think she is a baby is because I have been giving her formula because she is not eatting any of the other stuff I leave out. She is very docile and has never tried to bite but rather seems to like being touched.

I was feeding the baby while Zip was out running around and he came upon her sniffed and started to groom her or smell in her ear when she let out a squeek which startled all of us. So and helped Zip move over to the other side of me away from her.

Here are some pictures of her

So here are my questions..
Are Northern Flyers bigger then southern?
Can I wild flyer ever become tame like my sweet little Zip?
Has anyone ever heard of people putting northern and southern flyers together?
Do wild flyers have diseases that could be transfered to Zip?
HOF to a sweet baby boy!

Size is a good indicator: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=209
It's unlikely Zip will get anything from this pup.

I am so jelous! I have a male northern flyer that I have been searching EVERYWHERE to find a mate for and you just have a little girl fall into your lap! Wish it could be that easy for me! Good luck with your little one, she's adorable!
