My Gus was killed by a rat snake today. My other squirrel, Nim, is ok aside from being thoroughly traumatized.

Gus and Nim were a bonded pair and I worry for Nim's mental health now that Gus is gone. She's all alone in the cage out there.

I don't have any plans to get another squirrel. What should I do?

Can you being her inside where she doesn't have to worry about being eaten?
