Breeders in the MA area or New England??

Postby lil_kitten78 » Thu Mar 05, 2009 7:24 pm

Hello, We're just trying to find any breeders in Massachusetts or any of the surrounding states. I'd prefer to "drive" and pick up a pup if it's possible. I'm a little sad about the thought of shipping. :O(
I had a Flyer when I was still pretty young that I absolutely adored. I miss having a little furry friend that went everywhere with me. I'm currently a Surgical Veterinary Technician. I've also worked with wildlife, and had the pleasure of rehabbing wild flyers. (In case anyone cares to know a little about us ;O)
So if anyone out there can lend a helping hand in us finding a sweet baby to add to my home any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jessica

any luck?
also, would you have any recommendations for Boston-area vets who have experience with flyers?

Good luck with the vet. I called around and they said that they are considered wild animals and I should have better luck with a wild life specialist.
Owned by my personal zoo:
Benji and Mylo (the Doggies)
Aniel (the Squirrelie)

I know this post is old, but Sager Animal Hospital treated my southern flying squirrels. It's in Acton and well worth the drive (I lived right next to Cambridge on the Museum of Science side). The Odd Pet vet is good too if you live near Weymouth.
