Can flying squirrels get cataracts?

Postby Catfishman » Fri Jan 16, 2015 10:47 pm

Piggy Squeak will be 15 years old on Sunday. I confirmed tonight that he has a milky white growth? on the cornea of his left eye. Could this be a cataract? He is eating and getting around.

Yes, they can get cataracts, but adjust to the loss of vision. If you do a search here on cataracts, you can see other posts and even some pistures. Your flyer will be fine
