NFSA Library?

Postby Judy C. » Thu Nov 25, 2004 9:49 pm

Do we have, or intend to have, a NFSA library? I have "Healing Animals with Herbs", by John Heinerman, paperback, 1977. This isn't an area that I'm really interested in. It may or may not be helpful. Squirrels are not specifically mentioned, but various plants, what they are used for, and how to prepare them seems to be throughly covered.

I don't quite understand what you mean by a library. Can you elaborate?

Well, I don't really know either, Katie. Maybe a central location where members could pay postage and 'rent' the books for a few weeks or something.

Or maybe the ones that have books they're willing to lend could post a list of them and whoever is interested could deal straight with them

That is an interesting idea Judy! My only concern would be with rare or out-of-print books. Maybe someone would be willing to photocopy the section(s) relevant to flyers for those types of books...but then you always have to deal with copyright issues.

It is something to think about though. :D
