More sad news...

Postby Drayah » Wed Oct 19, 2005 11:04 pm

The little flyer I rescued passed away tuesday morning. ::sniffles::
I havn't a clue why. I had been raising him for three weeks since he was about a week and half old. I fed him monday nite before bed and when I woke up to feed him tuesday morning he had passed on.
I never noticed any odd signs at all. He seemed perfectly healthy. It bothers me a lot.

Maybe he met up with Throwaway on his way to squirrely heavan. I noticed they probably passed at about the same time.

in memory of the little guy... here's one of his pictures.

I am so sorry for I know how hard it is to work with these little fur balls and fall so deeply in love with them and for no reason known to us they pass on. He will always have a special place in your heart and treasure the pictures you have of him. Thinking about you in your time of grief.

So sorry. :( We've had an unusual number of lost pups recently. At least they can nest up after playing all day over the Rainbow Bridge. :angel13:

What a heart break. Sending you a hug. I lost my first one I rescued and it still hurts. They are so special.

Thanks so much for all the support.

I live in Orlando FL and we have a storm approaching us. I volunteered to help a lady I work with who does squirrel rescue. I hope to learn a lot from her. She says she will probably need help after Wilma.

I think the best way to cope with the loss is to learn how to help and get more experience with this sort of caretaking.

again thanks for all the well wishes.

on an off topic note I now have five sugar gliders...the second baby is officially O.O.P.

the cycle of life is continuous.
