Watch out for fringes and scarves!

Postby Laurak » Mon Feb 20, 2012 1:51 pm

Just a warning - watch out for scarves, or really any clothes that have fringe on them!

I had one of my scarves hanging up, and somehow Momo managed to get her neck tangled up in the fringe. When we found her, the fringe was twisted around her neck and she couldn't get out of it on her own. Luckily we found her and cut her out of it in time, but we found out that it's one more way to accidentally kill a squirrel :-/ She was only out of sight for about 5 minutes, and she never made a peep. We were lucky to find her in time - she looked so sad and confused. I still don't know why she didn't cheep out for help.

So, beware of fringes of any kind, they can choke your flyer easily and quickly.

Thank God you found her!
