Foraging Toys

Postby Nativeprincess » Sun Aug 30, 2015 6:09 pm

I've been trying to come up with new ideas to keep Ya'ya thinking and found these really neat food puzzles!
I guess these toys (foraging toys) are pretty common for parrots and the like, but I found a number of them work well for my little girl too.
So far, I've tried these ones:

Ya'ya loves them! I had to place the circle flat on a shelf, but she absolutely moves the cones around until the treat falls out (hilarious to watch)
She figured out the hanging drawers pretty quick and now not only can get the food out, but has started opening them up when empty and hiding food *IN* it.

It's been great to watch her figure it out, the down side is that shes gotten really good at opening stuff up. I can no longer keep those EOS lipbalm balls in the house now that she can unscrew them in less than a min!
