It seems the gauze roll and tape could be replaced as I can't imagine a furball keeping that on for 5 seconds.... maybe put it in the HOFs kit.

Joan, thanks for posting the contents. I think I'll get one and use it for my rehabs and have it on hand for flyers, adding flyer stuff to it.

Maybe folks can make recommendations about what to add and what to delete. Here's some additions from the recommendations for making up a first aid kit:
• Small Magnifying glass
• Styptic powder or sticks, Kwik Stop, or cornstarch
• Penlight
• Eye dropper
• Cotton swabs (Q-tips)
• Rectal thermometer (maybe you better make that an ear one)
• Lubricant such as mineral oil or KY Jelly (without spermicide)
• Irrigating Syringe
• Heat pack (sold in Walmarts Hunting Dept)
• Pedialyte pack
• Wound disinfectant such as Betadine or Nolvasan
• Neosporin or Triple antibiotic ointment for skin
• Antibiotic ophthalmic ointment for eyes, e.g., Terramycin
• Eye wash solution (sterile saline)

The smaller the packages, the better since the kit will only hold so much.
A larger container that stores both the kit plus extras would be good at home. The kit can go when HOF & flyer travel together.
