I think Mica is going blind

I know it's been a way long time since I've posted on here. Sorry. =( I noticed today that Mica has these blue cataract type spots in both her eyes. I hadn't noticed them before and I feel awful. I've been working twelve hour shifts at work and coming home and passing out, so she hasn't been the att...

Stupid question but my brain is malfunctioning and I just can't remember...

When it lists the dimensions of the cage, like 18 x 11 x 24... which one is which again... what order does it go in? Length x Width x Height? I'm confused. =(

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I actually had been looking at martin's cages. Lora, which of the 24" reptile cages did you get? They have the L-513 and the L-515 that I saw when I looked http://www.martinscages.com/products/cages/reptile/ What do you think of the travel cottage (F-400) or the...

Extended Travel Cage

Hi all. I know I haven't posted here in a while. I’ve been crazy busy with RL and haven’t been forum surfing as much as I used to, although for the most part I was a lurker on here anyway. I was wondering if any of you could recommend a good travel cage for me. Mica and I are moving across the count...

Yeah... I don't know about the growing out of it thing... I'm allergic to so many other things too and I think it would just be inviting in problems. I've also had two lung infections in the last four and a half years... don't think I want to do anything to potentially bring on another.

Last night I was feeling down and I went into the office and shut the door and just took Mica out of her cage and normally she would have just zoomed off to go explore but I sat down on the floor and she just sat there curled up in the crook of my arm just looking up at me with her big eyes. First of all, I really appreciate all the advice. Also, after looking up information on the internet, we decided against declawing. So for an update: we actually did go around to a few places to look at kittens. They were all shelters, because we wanted a shelter animal. The first place we went to, ...

Squirrels & Cats - Advice needed badly.

I know I haven't posted in almost two months I think on the forums. I've mostly been lurking. Had a lot going on in RL. I wanted some thoughts on an issue though. I’m sort of looking for some advice and guidance from people who have had both cats and squirrels. My husband really wants a cat. Has wan...

Anyone know what the laws are regarding SFS's in foreign countries, specifically France? I've already talked with Nativeprincess about this some, but Mica is still power grooming like crazy, and I worry that maybe she's suffering from anxiety just because she's reading that mood from me. I've been dealing with a lot of issues in my life lately, but I try to make sure she gets decent out...

Jasper is dead.

Jasper is my hamster. I think I've talked about him before. Two nights ago he was down by his cage door waiting for me like normal. Took a treat from my hand, gathered up his food and carried it to his top bed, tried to escape his cage, just normal Jaspy stuff. Last night I didn't stay up as late as...

Squammy was missed!

Well, I went out of town from Thursday morning to Monday night. I have this routine. I come home from work, I walk in my apartment, I take my shoes off, call to Mica, go in the bedroom, get her out of her cage, lavish her with kisses and praise, and then I go into the living room (where Jasper’s cage has been recently located to upon the purchase of a silent whe...

Okay well, I live on the West Coast. I want to put a plant or something in Mica's cage, but I'm worried about any plant that she wouldn't find naturally in the wild. Water fountain?

Do you guys think it would be alright to put a water fountain in Mica's cage? the fountain wouldn't be too deep and it would have rocks in the bottom so I don't think there would be any chance of her drowning, and I thought it might be something fun for her to play in if she wanted. what do you all ...

Well, Mica doesn't usually free roam around a room unless I can pay attention to where she is at all times. Last night I screwed up.
