lol.....i have seen rocky do a lot of funny things....but, last night first i saw him washing his face in his water bowl and then his feet and all went in and he was splashing the water all over the place. his water bowl is only about an inch deep....when he was done he didn't have much left to drin...

first keeping it warm is VERY important...we almost lost ours because we didn't know that. also, get you a syringe with an o-ring and esbilac formula (from the vet). we gave that about 5-6 times a day and night.....does he look dehydrated? if so get some pedialyte and give through the syringe. we ke...

Paula, you really don't have to worry about whether a leaf is safe to eat or not as he'll know. Suggestions folks have made are ones they know their furballs like. He'll know safe. thanks joan.....i guess i'm just a very nervous new hof.....i sure wouldn't want to do anything to cause him harm. :n0...

rocky just got his wodent wheel and he LOVES IT!!! it does make some noise but, it says on the wheel that you can use baby oil to help with the noise....is baby oil safe for flyers???? when gary put him in the wheel he went crazy with it....he even tried jumping from the top of the cage onto the top...

you were so right joan....it took him a couple of days but, now, just like you said, he is all over the place. i think he is trying to wean himself now. we tried to feed him formula last night as usual and he did not want it. instead he went back in his cage and got in his nuts n berries and started...

thanks joan!! didn't think of that. he did eat some carrots yesterday and may have ate his broccoli or either he stuck it away somewhere....didn't see it this morning. he's a little piglet when it comes to the formula but, that's only twice a day now. i ordered him a 4ft tall cage from martin's cage...

i found a great idea for a hanging pouch. i got an infant cap at the dollar store yesterday and hung is on the side of the cage.....rocky has explored it a couple of times going from it to his wheel and jumping down to floor. it was very funny to watch him explore something new :multi:
