they have succeeded in isolating cannabinoids from chocolate
Well, no wonder. And I always thought it was the endorphins released in your body after eating chocolate....sort of sheds a new light on things, doesn't it???
Well, if it is REAL white chocolate made with cocoa butter - I still wouldn't risk it.....although, I believe that one of the main issues is the effect that chocolate's caffeine has on the animal, and white chocolate doesn't have caffeine....dang, Darra, you're going to make me do further research o...
Okay, evidently, to be considered chocolate, it must be made with cocoa solids (or "liquors" as some websites refer to it). White chocolate does not contain cocoa solids, but does contain cocoa butter - IF it is REAL white chocolate. Apparently, there are mostly cheap imitations out there which are ...
Steve, I believe white chocolate is not chocolate at all. I'll have to do some research on it, but I think that white "chocolate" was developed for those (humans) who are allergic to the real thing and it isn't made from cocoa beans or something like that.
Crystal, that's WONDERFUL!! He looks like he's banking a turn in mid-air! GREAT job! Now, I'm looking closely, but I can't see anything! Where are these swollen appendages???? Honey, have you SEEN an adult male flyer in season???? (I have some pictures posted somewhere on here.) It doesn't look like...
Thanks so much, Everyone! Yep, Katie, it was certainly one of my most coveted photos - the other is a great shot of the stretch-and-yawn. When I finally get that one, I will be SO happy! And, definitely, Cathy - if there had been anyone in the bedroom but me, I would have named that picture Faun Att...
Awww, the pictures are adorable! It'll just take some time, Crystal, before Petrie realizes what a gift you've gotten for him! Some squirrels take longer to get used to the idea than others. Piper loved to get right under my hair. I was so glad to see that you had long hair, too, because it's her fa...
You are so right, Crystal. I told Joan and Laurie that I've discovered the secret to capturing an in-flight photo.....ESP. You have to "just know" when it is the perfect time to trip the shutter.
Or have a moment of pure, dumb luck, which is exactly the case here! LOL!

And the winner is - Frosty who owns Kay "So many punkin seeds...so little time..."
This was a HARD contest - there were so many adorable ones from which to choose! I think Judy's right....if this keeps up, we're going to have to go to first, second, and third places!
This is Angel who lives with Mary in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Mary is a fellow rehabber who couldn't bring herself to release Angel, her first flying squirrel orphan (man, if I had a nickle for every time I've heard that story!)....another rehabber bewitched by magical flyers! http://img.photobu...
That's great advice, Joe - and something I hadn't thought of before. I do believe that some states lump flyers in with grey squirrels and that the issue with possession is that they are considered "game". So, the hunting license just might work in some places - something to look into definitely! Alt...
Hi Ping, Glad you finally got your babies - are you feeding them formula? WebShots does not allow direct linking of photos to a message board. You can either post the link (here it is - http://community.webshots.com/s/image23/1/85/33/203318533WNDdWt_ph.jpg ) or you can use a free service such as htt...
Gail, I loaded your avatar of Mr. W and Ms. BBB - it's kinda small, though. If you want to send me another picture of them (more of a close up), we'll try that one, too, and then you can pick the one you want.
Let me know if I can help with the picture posting attempts!!
HUGE contest this time!! Select your favorite, if you can....it's a challenge for sure! The voting deadline will be November 10. If you have trouble voting, please send me a message. I will be in Savannah for a week beginning today, but I'll respond as soon as I get back, unless I get my laptop conn...
They look NO more than 7 weeks to me, and they do look a little on the skinny side. I am going to send you a picture of Boo who is about 7 weeks so you can see the difference. I'll send it to you privately because it would get an R rating here!
...who will be joining his new Squammy, Kathy, on Halloween: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/hraea/Flying%20Squirrels/BooOct14.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/hraea/Flying%20Squirrels/Boo3Oct14.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/hraea/Flying%20Squirrels/Boo2Oct14.jpg
LOL @ you, Laura! I don't know if you were kidding or not, but this baby DOES look like his Daddy! Okay, go ahead and laugh - everybody does - but I swear their faces look different to me, and this baby boy looks JUST like Chuck!
Piper will soon be going to her new Squammy, Crystal, and her sister will be heading up to South Carolina next month with Sandy! Aren't they adorable? These are my little 4 gram babies (weighed the same as a dime when they arrived - it was confirmed that their mama squirrel was killed when their tre...
....George recently reported that www.photobucket.com is temporarily halting their free accounts while the site is undergoing some upgrades. I have found (and tested) another site that is very easy and seems to work great. Try it out! www.imagecave.com
I'm NOT as bad as Laurie! A few bites of the occasional pickle (or some other God forsaken thing Darra comes up with) is not a bad thing, in my opinion, as long as they get a good varied diet of HEALTHY things, too! BUT THAT'S WHEN THEY'RE ADULTS!! Or ALMOST adults. NOT for Punkins - do you hear me?...
