Oh, Crystal - that Mama's boy, Chuck, ain't goin' nowhere that he can't see Joan! I have one that is very, very bonded to me (Faun - who else?) and I could trust him outside on a branch - but none of my other ones. The "outside" pictures that I have taken have been all the way outside on my s...

Jessica, an adult male is pretty easy to identify - so Sprocket is probably female. Below you'll find a link to some of my gender identification photos. Don't feel bad - some of our favorite people have been under a misconception as to their flyer's gender for....what was it, Laura?....more than a y...

Gee, Joan, didn't we have a similar situation last year with Mary-The-Rehabber-Converted-To-HOF who had to report her charge's disposition to the Rehab Facility???? If I recall correctly, our advice was to respond, Flying Squirrel? WHAT Flying Squirrel?? Oh - THAT flying squirrel, the one who escape...

Yep, Crystal, Piper will always be Cozy Baby to me, with yogurt on her face or not! And remember, Darra, I had Rainy in her formative weeks and I NEVER called her Greasy, Wet, or Chihuahua....she'll remember her name soon and forget all about those weeks with the shrewish tart who called her such ho...

Crystal, you did a GREAT job on that picture of Petrie - do you know how many people try to get an in-flight shot???? Do you know how LOOOOOOONG I tried to get one??? Now, Laurie, if you're going to call my sweet baby Rainy such a horrible name, you must at least spell it right!! That's "Greasy Wet ...

Yep, all my syringes come from http://www.thesquirrelstore.com , but the nipple is made from two different ones so that the size is more appropriate for flying squirrel babies. Chris at the The Squirrel Store can help you with anything you need - she is very helpful and full of good info. If you eve...

Thanks, Gail! This baby was about 7 weeks. The "bottle" is a syringe (3cc) that I use for older babies. The flow rate of a 3cc syringe is way too much for younger babies - I use a 1cc or even a .5cc for them. All the syringes I use come from Chris at http://www.thesquirrelstore.com - she has the bes...

I definitely don't feed them in this position - this baby was standing on his back feet with his front paws on the syringe. He got so enthusiastic that he curled his body around the syringe. It was so funny that I stopped pushing the formula out of the syringe and grabbed the camera (it's never far ...

Baby Pic of Rainy, Pork, Bean, Gazoo, and Lukas
Don't ask who is who - I'm good, but not that good! (Gazoo and Lukas are brothers, and Rainy, Pork, and Bean are sisters, but the boys and girls are from 2 different litters. Gazoo and Rainy will live with Becky and Darra, respectively, in Arkansas. Lukas lives with George at Yolanda's in Florida, a...
