well... thats to bad.... i feel sad. lol well i'll have to move to another state...lol :( Sorry about that. Well, there are plenty of other animals that you could get. Sugar gliders are somewhat similar in appearance and seem to bond well to humans like flyers do! Not only are sugar gliders illegal...

Update

The stealth wheel is soooo quiet, that you cannot hear it when it moves. Ever since the first night, I have noticed each morning the wheel has been moved and is sitting sideways in the cave. Well, I moved yesterday and we are now staying with my aunt now, and we had to share a room last night for th...

We are all here with you through this. To lose two at one time must be unbearable. But you are right, they are waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.

So sorry about your loss.

Update on Pistol Pete

For all of you new first time ownees if you do not have one of Anita's Stealth wheels, order it today even if you have to rob a bank for one. I received mine yesterday and Pistol came out at 5:00 p.m. to check it out. Then when he went to his cage at 9:00 last night, he went straight to his wheel an...

And I know from experience what Chip is like at night! Has Mishi had enough of him yet? Yeah, Pistol is the same way. He wakes us up at midnight and 4:00 a.m. squealing his little heart out and we can hear him over our bedroom fan with the door closed. I always get up and check on him to make sure h...

Patient

I am learning quick about his own mind. I do not think that he likes to play outside the cage. I believe that he only wants cuddling outside and then he wants his wheel and food. He keeps shoving his wheel up against his wooden rods inside the cage, so you can definetly hear him at night. When you g...

Stressing

I am stressing over Pistol Pete. He would rather stay in his cage all day and night than he would with me. Yesterday, everytime I would get him out of his cage, he would stay in my shirt for 5 minutes to an hour, then he would jump out and run back to his cage. He doesn't want me handling him and wa...

Roses

Pistol got his first rose last night and he loved it as far as I know because I can not find it. We gave him a dogwood limb, but so far he has not touched it, so we gave him blueberry limb last night but I don't know if he did any damage to it or not. We were in our first loud group yesterday aftern...

Gloves

Before I lost Scoot, he did this. I had a pair of the isotoner leather gloves, they are soft and very flexible. They let you still be able to feel the flyer and if they bite your through them it is a lot less painful.

I thought everyone would like an update. Things were going fine with Pistol until yesterday afternoon. I took him out of my shirt so he could bond with Danny for a little while. Vacation

Definetly. Pistol Pete got his first trip to the grocery store, dollar general (which he really did not seem to like too Noisy), and to let some friends see him at another little shop in town. He did tolerate them looking in my top at him, though. The video I made of the Wild Bunch turned out perfec...

Arrived Home with Pistol

Pistol Pete is a pistol. He is a sweetheart except for the back position. Within about 50 miles of home, he moved to the front and curled up. I have a picture of him upside down, with his feet in the air. When we arrived at Debs and I started moving my stuff to my vehicle, he moved to the back again...

Stealth Wheel

Before my flyer went to the rainbow bridge, I tried a stealth wheel and he would not touch it. I found a plastic small animal wheel in the mouse section of a pet store.
