Fantastic picture!
I love it just as it is. The look of determination is GREAT and the metalic / motor city background provides contrast.

Glad she found you. She was not lost, you were! Everyday, call her to you by name and feed her a treat. Just a sliver of something very good. But reward her only if she comes. A friend of my Mom's asked me if I was doing this and if Amanda came when I called her name. I had to say "No she doesn...

Can you sit quietly in the room where she had been with no lights on? You may be surprised to find that a small furry body has found you in the middle of the night. Pecans in/near your hand may help. Is there any chance that she may be in the wall where the pipes come through for the kitchen or bath...

I can really picture this! LOL Try putting the only pecan piece you give her that night in the baby food. Arrange so that she has to walk through the baby food to get to the pecan. Have you tried a small slice of the yellow part of a ripe avocado? Or sugar peas – snapped open so she can see the peas.

What they really need is a consistant source of good, clean water. We just put out china bowls that we change twice a day this time of year. All sorts of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and things that make noise in the night that we never see come to drink. BUT you need to keep it clean and be consist...

Shoe boxes are good if they are made of cardboard without too much ink. Don't use the kind with polished paper and/or lots of colors. Cut a flyer sized hole in one end. Amanda and Jeff drink distilled water. She is still drinking 1.5 teaspoons of formula every day and has a cuttle bone which she hardly ever chews. Wonder if I should add more minerals since distilled water doesn't have any?

The very few black squirrels in our neighbourhood are all chunky and square built with very square faces. Probably related to each other. But very intelligent. One used to come in to eat with the gray ones, but the FedEx driver hit him. Jeff was so mad, he reported the driver.

Amanda's wheel is on the floor of her cage. She used to get inside and push off with her right arm or hang from the bolt in the center. But we didn't see her using it a lot. Brent -- if these are your own cats, what about collars on the cats that will set off shocks if they get out of the area where they are supposed to be? Or in this case into the area where the wild flyers are. It works very well with some dogs and others totally ignore the shock if they get tempted e...

Safe to chew?

Amanda likes to chew on Popsicle sticks which I know are ok, but what about the boxes that a pound of butter (Land of Lakes) come in. Take him in only when he is sleepy and happy to stay in a bloused-up portion of your shirt. Do you have a loose fitting polo shirt you can tu...
