Esilibac/Calcium question

Postby Nativeprincess » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:54 pm

I know flyers tend to ween themselves around 10 wks, but Ya'ya never quite got there all the way.
She's totally on solid food- hard nuts, veggies etc. but absolutely insists on her Esilibac milk every morning. I figure it's a source of calcium so I am happy to oblige, but I wonder if it is enough. Should I be supplementing further? I know Dr. Cooley had some concerns with over supplementation and she also has a cuttle bone so I was just wondering what opinions others had.

If she's eating solid foods, formula can just be a treat. Having some in the morning won't hurt her as long as it's limited. She'll probably give it up at some point.
