Changing Laws?

Postby stellia » Fri Oct 03, 2008 12:42 am

In the following articles, they discuss Georgia and how it has changed its laws to allow sugar gliders as pets as long as they have USDA permits. Apparently one of the senators brought a sugar glider to the senate floor and pulled it out for everyone to see. It made me wonder if there was some way to fight for flying squirrels in unfriendly states. And how the sugar glider law reversal came to be and from whom. What do you think? Any suggestions or thoughts on how to go about this and be a voice for flying squirrels? :usa

omg! what a good idea! 2 of our state senators and one representative are freinds. I should give them all baby squirrels, then hit them up to write a new bill on native wildlife keeping in Mississippi.
