Hi,
This flyer is about 12 years old, and recently has developed a swollen eye with what looks like a yellowish mucous forming in the corner of it.
She still eats and gets around fine, acting normal. Doesn't look like she is scratching it or anything.
Anyone have any idea what is causing it and what to do about it??
Here are some pictures of it.

Sounds like an infection. She may need antibiotics ... best to check with your vet.illidan50 wrote: swollen eye with what looks like a yellowish mucous forming in the corner of it.

I have clavamox, so I started treating her with that yesterday. She still is acting perfectly fine and like nothing is bothering her. I'm amazed she still gets around so well at age 12
