Sisel Rope

i bought some sisel rope to make a toy for rocky and it has a smell to it so i got scared to use it.....anyone know if it is safe to use for toys?????

I would not use any rope that came from a hardware store as it is treated with something (??). Only use rope intended for pets. I just bought some plain & colored rope from Drs Foster & Smith. I've used sisal with no problems
