Kay deemed me a very accomodating toy. Eeyore peed in my bra.
Anyhow, Ian and I really need to order her a wheel so she can amuse herself while we're sleeping. We try to stay up late and play with her but with 10 am classes and homework it becomes difficult, plus she's started becoming active more towards one am compared to nine pm.

Re: Favorite Toys
rocky just got his wodent wheel and he LOVES IT!!! it does make some noise but, it says on the wheel that you can use baby oil to help with the noise....is baby oil safe for flyers???? when gary put him in the wheel he went crazy with it....he even tried jumping from the top of the cage onto the top of the wheel and of course it went around with him and he ended up on the floor looking like "what the heck"!! we were rolling laughning at him and that seem to make him want to do it more lol.

i got shylo the barrel of fun. it took her a while to figure it out, but she loves it! i put little treats in it and she can open it up in a second. i think it is a good challenging toy. do you think any of the other foraging toys on this site would work for flyers?

Re: Favorite Toys
is baby oil safe for flyers????
not sure about flyers But I know I would not want any animal to eat baby oil
That is why I suggest veg oil . It is the only safe oil I know about.
Hope this helps you out.

Ichigo so far has already stolen the small jingle bell that was on my cellphone (it must look like a shiny, un-crackable nut!). I let her play with it, but only under supervision so she doesn't break it open or chip off the paint or anything. She also came up with a new game today: I drapped my teeshirt over one of her branches, right where the branch splits into two, making a Y, where she put a piece of apple, then proceeded to climb UNDER the drapped shirt, and batted the apple piece around from underneath! Such silly, cute creatures
She totally loved it when I tied an old sock to the top of the cage, but she almost got a toe tangled in the knit, so that had to go. But I *think* Santa is bringing her a birdie rope toy (heh heh) and maybe one of those chew-through blocks since she likes to chew on her wooden nestbox so much (and poop on it, apparently
